Yes indeed, it is (almost) time once again to begin preparation for our bi-annual Tyee Wine Dinners with our good friends Dave & Margy Buchannan, owners of Tyee Wine Cellars in Corvallis, OR. Please join us Monday, May 20th & Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00pm for the eighth reoccurrence of one of our favorite occasions, a chance to drink and appreciate the Tyee wines and company of our good friends and fans. We will feature the complete catalog of Tyee wines complemented by the Argyle Brut, an excellent Willamette Valley sparkling wine to open the evening. Tickets are $90 per person, tax & gratuity included and are available starting APRIL FIRST at Fish.
Usually, the announcement of one of our pairing dinners is complemented by a menu, posters, teasers and more information. However, we usually don’t release tickets for our events until about a month before the event takes place. Buuut, we know how much y’all love Tyee, (almost as much as we do) so you don’t even care if we have a menu. So, tickets on sale April 1st, with menu to follow by the middle of April. If you’ve never been to a Tyee Wine Dinner, I personally think it’s the best thing we do at the restaurant. If you have, you know, and you had better get your tickets FAST, or you’ll be sorry. Also, please keep in mind that our good friend Phil Pringle over at Pringles Fine Wines and Spirits stocks the entire catalog of Tyee wines and the Argyle Brut, so if you want to do any preparatory tasting, he’s your source.
